It's been my privilege to work with a lot of guys from different countries. When you get to know them well enough, they'll tell you the one thing that surprises them when they come to America is that we're not all a bunch of cowboys.
Mainly, their impressions of America comes from watching Westerns, Gangster movies, and Cop shows. The Sopranos are American Cultural Ambassadors. Which is kind of scarey.
And, while Galore is from Africa, the folks from the UK are horrified to find out that their cultural Ambassadors consist of Monty Python, and Benny Hill.
